This book fell flat. Though the blurb was nice, the story itself was lacking. Lacking depth, lacking a real connection between the MC, it was awful. It felt forced and false. It´s a real sad thing to say about a book, when the author put so much to write. But, unfortunately, we read a lot of this kind of book until we find a awesome one.

The Fable of Us by Nicole Williams

But after seven years of dodging her hometown, she’s only back in Charleston for seven days to celebrate her sister’s wedding. She won’t let her overbearing family or her run-in with Boone rattle her—though rattling her is obviously Boone’s primary objective.

Just when Clara’s life can’t possibly get more complicated, the ground shifts, and she discovers just how far her family was willing to go to keep the wrong boy out of her life. Was it really Boone who left her? Or was it Clara who left him?

The truth will be hard to face. Especially when she discovers most of her life has been built on lies.




Clara and Boone (I love this name since Lost) were son in tune through the whole book, I don´t know how they could think they're wasn't supposed to be together.

Their story was really sad with so many betrayal form Clara´s family. Charlotte was a B.I.T.C.H. And I didn´t get it why she could get away with that behavior without her parents say anything. And Ford, he cheat on Clara, with her sister, for god´s sake, and her dad would accept Ford marrying Charlotte after everything they done was beyond my comprehension.

I think I have a new favorite author. Until now, all the books by Jen Frederick that I read was awesome.
I loved Jock Blocked. Lucy and Matty was so cute together. They´re just perfect for each other.
I have a weak spot for heroines with health problems, I don´t really know why. And Lucy was the the perfect combination of a strong woman with the strength needed to bulldoze through life, but also with some vulnerability, a sweetness.And she was really faithful with her friends, goals and everything else.

Matty was a sweetheart, Iloved him very much, since the very beginning, through the whole book.

Roomhate is a very hard book to review. Because while the plotline was really good. I did not liked Justin at all, he´s super  rude, to the point of assholery behavior toward Patch.

Until they rekindle their romance, then he became really sweet, but I had a hard time until then.

What a mess! Finding their balance was a awful reading, I felt like DNFing but being a ARC I put myself through it. But it was painful to read it. Confusing and lacking I felt like I was reading a different book from the other readers who gave 5 stars.

First, I must say how hard it is to have read three 5 stars books in a row. WOW, what a dream! I wish I only have 5 stars books in my read list.
Now, about Sugar Daddy. OMG! I ´m completely, obsessed in love with Beck, he is utterly perfection.

I devoured this book, couldn't put it down for the life of me. And, I'm extremely anxious for the next one.

Never Let You Go (Never Tear Us Apart #2) by Monica Murphy

Their connection is strong as ever but sometimes it fells like everything is crumbling around them.

I loved every second of Will and Katie´s story, they´re perfect for each other.

This is one of those books that I wish I had read it sooner. I was kind of afraid to read it because I had read it One week girlfriend and I didn't liked.

But in this one Monica Murphy totally redeemed herself. It was perfect, the plotline, the characters, Katie and Will´s connection, the way the plot was told. I utterly loved this book.

So, I´m not really a fan on non-fiction books, but when I saw it was from Marian Keyes i had to read it. And thank God, I did.

It´s like little portraits of a private life. With a easy and fun writing style.

The Mother Road by Meghan Quinn

Never in a million years would I have pictured myself as an axe-wielding, dragon lady, chopping up multi-colored flannel shirts into my very own plaid mulch. But here I am, chopping away my frustrations.

It all started when my brother, Paul, convinced me to go on one last family road trip across the Mother Road with him and my dad.. Just like old times, right? Wrong. What Paul fails to mention is his best man, Porter, will be joining us, who just so happens to be my childhood crush and the man who broke my heart four years ago.

What is supposed to be a fun, family bonding experience across Route 66 turns into a war of pranks, awkward moments and bathrooms full of dirty flannel shirts and day old beard clippings. Paul’s know-it-all attitude and Porter’s devilish charm brings me to the brink of my sanity on my seven day trek across the United States with three bearded men in a small 1980’s RV. 



OMG. I think I found another favorite author. I had the great pleasure to read The Virgin Romance Novelist in january or december, I´m not so certain about the month, but I loved it. And The mother road. does not stays behind. Au contraire, is even better. It´s extremely hilarious, I laugh so hard, my bed shake it and my husband woke up. And it´s also sweet, gross (Oh yeah, it has a lot of gross moments), tender, steamy-hot.
I loved every little thing about it.
The relationship between the McMann family is one of the most beautiful I had ever seen. Glory and Bernie forever.
Paul is a show apart. I could totally envision Ross Geller as Paul McMann, when he was having one of his groom-zilla moments, OMG, what was that? Sometimes I want it to get in the book and shake some manliness into him, LOL.

I cried a lot reading the letters left to Porter and Marley, by her mom. The end was just perfect like everything else.

Resist (Resist #1) by Missy Johnson

OMG. I love Missy Johnson´s books. In Resist we have a unusual situation that was kind of hilarious when you think about it later, but my first reaction was "What a pig", but even this didn't make me dislike Jaxon. He's actually quite sweet.
I love Charlotte and Jaxon, they´re perfect together and they hit it off right from the start.
The sex scenes are way, way hot. Melt-panties kind of hot.

Congratulations Missy Johnson for another mind-blowing, steamy-hot story.

It´s always hard for me to give a bad feedback when you read a book. Unfortunately, is a necessary evil.

When I requested this book at NG, I did because I liked the blurb very much. And while the story, per se, has potential. The way it was told was too superficial. I couldn´t connect with  any of the characters, they all felt one-dimensional, nor the storyline itself.

In a general way it was a nice book, I think a lot of people will enjoy it.
Personally, isn't one of my favorites. It´s so full of cliches.

I know cliches exist because they work, but sometimes it became too much, it´s overwhelming.

It was a nice book. Short, fast paced, no drama.
I think Pepper took too long to fight to win Tank back when her whole purpose was that.

I couldn't really connect with the story or the characters.

Every Beat (Every Series Book 1) by Samantha Rey

Can be read as a stand-alone. 




Is so hard to review this book. It was a well written book, but the plot line and characters fell short to my expectations.
First of all, we have Sadie, who spent the majority of the story complaining about how everybody betrayed her or left her. And then we have Henley who is a new friend of Sadie, obnoxiously nosy. She wants to know everything, and she has no boundaries.
Then we have two perfect male specimens. They´re both have great chemistry with her but one fight for her and the other one run from her, and she doesn't know each one she wants.

So she stay with the one who fights for her until the other decides he wants to fight for her too, then she changes her mind and stay with the other one. It was annoying.

Fade into You (Shaken Dirty #3) by Tracy Wolff

Is because of books like this one that I love reviewing for netgalley. I read a lot of books in search of a hidden gem like Fade into you. If I had to choose one word to describe this book it would be intense. It was so intense that I still can feel my heart in disarray.

I'm utterly in love with Wyatt and Poppy. They´re perfection together. It´s intense perfection everywhere. Their connection was instantaneous and strongly addictive.

My only complain was the end. It wasn't bad, but it could have been better.

I´m anxious to read the previous books of the Shaken Dirty series as well as any other book wrote by Tracy Wolff, she certainly won a fan.

I knew it. I was so sure that some of their parents would be involved in that culsterfuck of a kidnapping. I think "The Woman" is Adele. And I hope she gets what she deserves.When I read about Adele for teh first time, I remembered "Mrs.Robinson" a Elena from 50 Shades of Grey.

I loved this book, was very well written. and the sexual tension between Jane and Dallas is off the charts. I´m super anxious for the next one.

How to Get Hitched in Ten Days by Samantha Tonge

It´s a short and sweet story, but it kind of let me down. It wasn't what I was expecting. The blurb made me think Jasmine and Mikey would be a couple, and reading the story sometimes I thought they would be a threesome,but in the end it wasn´t neither one. I didn´t liked the outcome.

What an unexpected story. I was so sad because the story started well, but i was becoming one of that stories with instalove where it seems forced and wasn't working so good. But in the end it was nothing like that, it had a twist like. I didn't have saw it in awhile. I loved.

I requested this book at NG, because the blurb was interesting but the book itself was awful.
Janet is so whiny and she spends so much time, in inner monologues about how Hayden would never give her the time of the day that is annoying.
Hayden is also very immature and arrogant. In one scene he´s dining with Janet and he ask her if she likes to travel, she laughs and says she would love to, but she´s a teacher and can´t afford. Then, she asks him if he likes to travel and he answers that what would be fun about life if we couldn't enjoy it. I think this was the portrait of a person very selfish.
